First Analytics at the Foresight Practitioner Conference
We are pleased to announce that First Analytics will be participating in the Foresight Practitioner’s Conference 2025, hosted by the Foresight: The International Journal of Applied Forecasting. This year’s event will take place on March 3-4, 2025, at the University of North Carolina Charlotte.
A representative from First Analytics will serve as a panelist in a discussion on Forecast Value Add (FVA), a framework for assessing forecasting performance. FVA helps organizations determine whether their forecasting efforts are truly improving decision-making or simply adding complexity without benefit.
One potential topic of discussion may explore how emerging tools, such as Generative AI, have the potential to enhance the FVA process, helping businesses improve forecasting accuracy and efficiency. We hope attendees will gain a deeper understanding of how to apply FVA to their own forecasting processes and leverage new AI-driven technologies to enhance their results.
For those interested in learning more about FVA in conjunction with Generative AI, we recently published an article on this topic, which you can read about in this recent blog post. The post also includes a link to an AI generated audio summary , for those who prefer their content in podcast style format.
We value the insights that Foresight brings to the forecasting and analytics communities. We participated in the event in 2019, and have contributed to the Foresight Journal.
At First Analytics, we help organizations enhance their capabilities through our forecasting offerings. Our expertise in Generative AI is helping companies rethink traditional forecasting approaches, making them more adaptive and insightful.
